We are looking for an intermodal freight forwarder for our transport operations area. Join DSV, where in a Scandinavian corporate culture you are empowered to act and make decisions, and creative thinking is valued.
Tasks
- Daily operation and coordination of intermodal services
- Liaising with railway operators, road subcontractors, clients, and colleagues
- Booking train tickets, daily tracking of their status
- Planning EU and domestic road transport (last mile / first mile), dispatching orders, daily tracking of fulfillment
- Calculating road freight costs using a mapping program
- Recording transport tasks, costs, and other data in the TMS system
- Daily notification of rail terminals
- Regular inspection of the technical condition of DSV semi-trailers, timely organization of required technical inspections
- Regular quantitative and qualitative inspection and tracking of load securing equipment
- Maintaining daily records (mostly Excel-based), timely administration of changes
- Re-planning transport tasks, re-booking train tickets if necessary

Requirements
- 2-5 years of operational experience in road and/or combined (rail & road) transport
- Initiative, independence, flexibility
- Systems thinking (ability to quickly grasp changes and correlations)
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- User-level knowledge of Excel, Word, Internet, Outlook
- Language skills: English at a communicative level
