The Senior Service Technician role is a full-time, on-site position based in Hungary involving installing, commissioning, maintaining, and repairing plastic processing machines and auxiliary equipment at customer locations.
Tasks
- Installing, commissioning, maintaining, and repairing plastic processing machines and auxiliary equipment at customer locations.
- Diagnosing mechanical, electrical, and control-related issues, performing preventive maintenance, and completing service reports and documentation.
- Providing field service support, advising customers on the proper use and care of their equipment.
- Coordinating with the internal sales and technical teams to plan service visits and follow-up actions.
Requirements
- Strong skills in Maintenance & Repair and Maintenance for industrial machinery and equipment.
- Proficiency in Troubleshooting complex mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and control system issues.
- Experience in Field Service, including on-site installation, commissioning, and technical support.
- Effective Customer Service skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and build long-term relationships.
- Hands-on experience with plastic processing machines or similar industrial equipment is highly beneficial.
- Ability to read technical drawings, manuals, and schematics; basic PC skills for documentation and reporting.
- Capacity to work independently, manage time effectively, and travel regularly within Hungary.
