Under the direct supervision of the Senior Project Associate (Social Inclusion & Integration), the MHPSS Specialist (Social Inclusion & Integration) provides individual and group-based MHPSS interventions and community-based psychosocial support to promote the mental well-being and social inclusion of migrants under MMIA-PLUSZ-2.2.1-24-2024.
Tasks
- Implement Individual MHPSS counselling for migrants.
- Design and facilitate group MHPSS sessions for migrants.
- Implement community-based psychosocial activities to promote social cohesion.
- Organize psychoeducation workshops and awareness campaigns to strengthen resilience.
- Provide technical support to staff on inclusive MHPSS approaches.
- Assess the effectiveness of group-based MHPSS interventions.
- Document and report on lessons learned and best practices.
- Maintain accurate records of group MHPSS activities, ensuring adherence to IOM's data protection policies.
