Field IT Support Engineer

Tasks

• On-site IT support and troubleshooting related to end-user devices
• Repair of desktop computers, laptops, and printers, as well as hardware troubleshooting
• Hardware replacement and coordination of warranty repairs with manufacturers (OEMs)
• IT asset inventory, labeling, system image deployment, and tasks related to the GAMS system
• Management of the IT equipment warehouse and inventory control
• Smart Hands technical support in engineering and laboratory environments
• Troubleshooting network, LAN/WAN, and connectivity issues
• Support for conference rooms, audiovisual (AV) equipment, and key VIP/VVIP users
• Smart Hands technical support in server rooms and for network equipment
• On-site printer support and troubleshooting related to printers
• Management of incidents and service requests
• Coordination with vendors and support for technicians at dispatch locations
• On-site support in handling cybersecurity issues and security vulnerabilities
• Creation and updating of knowledge base articles, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and site-specific documentation
• Support for VIP users and critical incident management
