Head of Information Technology Operations

Tasks

• Comprehensive management of corporate IT infrastructure operations, ensuring stable, secure, and continuous operation.
• Professional oversight of the operation, maintenance, and development of Helpdesk, mobile IT and endpoint devices, data center and server environments, as well as network and telecommunication services.
• Management, development, and performance monitoring of IT operations and Helpdesk teams.
• Supervision and continuous improvement of IT service management processes — incident, problem, change, and service management.
• Ensuring the fulfillment of service level agreements (SLAs), monitoring and improving availability and user satisfaction.
• Defining IT infrastructure development directions in alignment with the IT strategy, participating in corporate digitalization and IT transformation projects.
• Initiating automation, efficiency enhancement, and modernization of operational processes.
• Ensuring compliance with business continuity, disaster recovery, and information security requirements.
• Professional coordination of external IT service providers and suppliers, supervising their contractual performance and costs.
• Monitoring the IT operations budget, resources, and performance metrics, and preparing regular management reports.
• Close cooperation with business areas, application development teams, and the CIO.

• Higher education in IT, computer engineering, business informatics, or another relevant technical field.
• At least 5 years of relevant managerial experience in IT operations or infrastructure management.
• Comprehensive knowledge of the operation of IT infrastructures, network systems, and corporate IT services.
• Solid knowledge of IT service management and operational processes.
• English proficiency at a minimum B2 level.
• Business mindset, strategic thinking, and result-oriented approach.
• Strong leadership presence, independent decision-making, and problem-solving abilities.
• Outstanding communication, teamwork, and conflict resolution skills.
• Effective change management and development-oriented mindset.
• Experience in operating and professionally managing Microsoft-based corporate infrastructure and services.
• Knowledge of VMware or open-source virtualization technologies, understanding operational requirements for virtualized server environments.
• Experience with Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365 environments, understanding the integration of local and cloud-based services.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Intune-based endpoint and mobile device management, experience with centralized management and secure operation of corporate devices.
