We are looking for a System Administrator / Infrastructure Engineer to join the expanding team of our partner, specialized in the mobile phone sector with over 15 years of software development experience and success in the international market. Their flagship project is a mobile diagnostics system used globally for testing mobile phones.

Tasks

  • Operation of the entire corporate IT infrastructure, including servers, network, containers, and development environments
  • Maintenance and development of existing established systems, implementation of new services, and execution of system-level changes
  • Support for development teams
  • Setting up the working environment for new colleagues (hardware, software, access, equipment procurement)
  • Supervision of monitoring systems and handling of errors indicated by monitoring
  • Handling support tickets and real-time problem-solving for colleagues
  • Real-time resolution of issues arising during daily operations
  • Management of networking tasks (VLAN, routing, firewall, VPN)
  • Support for colleagues' Windows workstations and ensuring their daily operation
  • Maintenance of the Kubernetes cluster
  • Operation of GitLab and CI/CD processes
  • Supervision of VPN connections and resolution of related issues
  • Operation of Docker-based services and management of containerized environments

Requirements

  • Solid knowledge of Debian and CentOS Linux distributions
  • Usage and operation of Docker Rancher or another container orchestrator
  • Maintenance and operation of the Kubernetes cluster
  • High-level knowledge of GitLab and GitLab CI/CD
  • Knowledge of GlusterFS (NFS) or other distributed storage
  • Use of Elasticsearch, Filebeat, Kibana
  • System-level knowledge of Windows 11
  • Operation of Nginx PHP-fpm
  • Site-to-Site and Point-to-Site VPN
  • Management of PostgreSQL and MySQL databases
  • Use of monitoring systems (Icinga, Nagios, or Zabbix)
