Our partner is a leading European financial group providing bancassurance products and services to retail and corporate clients. We are looking for a medior or senior Mainframe System Engineer (IMS) with at least 3 years of relevant professional experience to join our team.
Tasks
- Operation, maintenance, and support of IBM IMS systems.
- Performing tasks related to the operation of IMS Transaction Manager (IMS TM).
- Supporting transaction processing workflows and related system components.
- Executing technical releases and system maintenance tasks.
- Identifying operational issues, troubleshooting, and resolving faults.
- Supporting backup and recovery processes.
- Close collaboration with the Hungarian and international teams.
- Creating and maintaining up-to-date technical documentation.

Requirements
- At least 3 years of relevant professional experience in a mainframe environment.
- Practical experience with IBM IMS systems.
- Knowledge of IMS Transaction Manager (IMS TM) operations and transaction processing workflows.
- Knowledge of the z/OS environment.
- System operations experience, particularly in maintenance, backup, and recovery tasks.
- Negotiation-capable English language skills.
- Independent, structured working style and strong problem-solving skills.
