The Aggregator Operations team of MET Asset Management Support Zrt. is looking for a motivated employee for the Junior Aggregator IT Engineer position under an indefinite employment contract for its Budapest office. The main task of the new team member will be to participate in the development, operation, and expansion of the MET Group aggregator platform.
Tasks
- Development of Python- and SQL-based scripts, automations, and data processing workflows
- Development of Proof of Concept (PoC) and pilot projects to test new business and technical ideas
- Support and further development of IT systems used to operate the aggregator platform
- Supporting the integration of new power plants, consumers, and energy storage units
- Understanding and management of communication between field controllers, SCADA systems, and the aggregator platform
- Monitoring and supervision of the daily operation of the aggregator platform
- Operational and technical liaison with MAVIR and business partners
- Supporting commercial and back-office teams with technical data, reports, and automated solutions

Requirements
- Higher education in engineering or IT
- 1-3 years of professional experience in energy production or electricity trading
- Fluent English language skills both spoken and written
- Excellent MS Office skills, especially advanced Excel knowledge
- Experience using at least one programming language (e.g. VBA, Python)
- Exceptional precision and high attention to detail
- Proactive, reliable personality who is not afraid of challenges and responsibility
