Geely Magyarország is seeking a Senior Product Expert based in Budapest. In this role, you will conduct continuous research on the Hungarian automotive market, handle product competitiveness, positioning, and pricing analysis, lead product training for dealer networks, and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams.
Tasks
- Conduct continuous, in-depth research on the Hungarian automotive market, tracking macro-industry trends, regulatory shifts, and consumer preferences.
- Monitor competitor actions, specs, and configurations, and deliver comprehensive Monthly Product Competitiveness & Market Research Reports.
- Identify product advantages, disadvantages, and potential market niches or feature gaps for Geely's localized portfolio.
- Conduct systematic product competitiveness benchmarking to define clear market positioning, USP matrices, and target customer profiles.
- Provide data-driven pricing and price-adjustment recommendations for current and future vehicles.
- Closely monitor competitor pricing movements, retail campaigns, dealer margins, and tactical incentives.
- Analyze the commercial impact of local taxation and leasing trends.
- Translate complex product specifications into commercially attractive selling points.
- Develop professional, localized Product Training Manuals and sales playbooks.
- Conduct on-site, in-store product training sessions for sales consultants and management teams across the dealer network.
- Collaborate closely with local Sales, Marketing and After sales teams.
- Maintain seamless communication with the Chinese ISE Product Manager.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Automotive Engineering, Economics, or a related field.
- 5-7 years of experience in product management, business analysis, or product marketing within the Hungarian automotive industry.
- Deep Knowledge of the Hungarian Car Market.
- Strong Analytical Capability.
- Excellent Presentation & Training Skills.
- Hungarian (Native) and English (Professional Working Proficiency).
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
