Tasks
- Ensure material compliance with regulations such as Regulation (EC) No 1907/2006 (REACH), Directive 2011/65/EU (RoHS) and other legislation relating to materials compliance
- Monitor regulatory changes and implement necessary actions
- Maintenance of master data in SAP and other software solutions
- Requesting necessary data and documents from suppliers and reviewing supplier declarations and compliance documentation
- Advising Engineering, Purchasing and suppliers on compliance requirements
- Providing global support on matters relating to material compliance
- Assisting in the negotiation and conclusion of quality assurance agreements with suppliers and customers
- Collaborating with Sales, Legal Department, Quality Assurance, Procurement and Warranty Management to prevent any potential recourse claims from customers or to pass them on to suppliers
- Supporting and carrying out tasks relating to the QRA (Quality Requirements Assurance) team
Requirements
- Secondary education
- Strong knowledge of Material Compliance methodologies and standards
- Excellent communication skills in English
- Good working knowledge of SAP and Microsoft Office
- Strong analytical, communication and organizational skills
- High level of accuracy, ownership, and problem-solving ability
- Advantage: FMEA knowledge
