We are looking for a Software Tester to join our dynamically growing corporate IT environment and actively contribute to ensuring the high quality of software, applications, and IT systems developed, operated, and implemented by mBit Technológiai Szolgáltató Zrt.
Tasks
- Testing software, applications, and features currently under development or already in production.
- Reviewing business and functional requirements, specifications, and user stories for testability.
- Clarifying testing requirements in cooperation with developers, business analysts, Product Owners, and other stakeholders.
- Designing, creating, documenting, and maintaining test cases and test scenarios.
- Executing manual functional, integration, system, regression, and smoke tests.
- Verifying new developments, modifications, and bug fixes.
- Reproducing discovered bugs, documenting them in detail, and logging them in JIRA.
- Managing bug tickets, assisting in determining their severity and priority, and re-testing fixes.
- Documenting and reporting testing results, statuses, risks, and blocking issues.
- Performing pre-release and deployment testing tasks, evaluating software versions for release readiness.
- Supporting the preparation of test environments and test data.
- Testing APIs, interfaces, and system integrations according to project requirements.
- Checking database-stored data and system processes using available tools.
- Examining UI functionality, usability, and consistency, across different browsers, devices, and resolutions as needed.
- Identifying automation opportunities for repetitive testing tasks and supporting the setup and operation of automated testing processes.
- Collaborating with developers and application operations to identify root causes of bugs and analyze issues occurring in production environments.
- Supporting UAT preparation and execution.
- Continuously improving testing processes, methods, and documentation.
- Participating in professional discussions related to development projects, Scrum events, and project meetings.
- Cooperating with project managers and technical leads to meet quality requirements.
- Keeping test documentation and related information up to date, complying with data privacy and information security regulations.
- Assisting with audit preparations and related data provisioning when necessary.

Requirements
- Relevant experience in software testing or quality assurance.
- Knowledge of manual testing methods and testing processes.
- Experience in creating test cases and documenting bugs.
- Familiarity with bug tracking systems.
- Analytical mindset, precision, and strong problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and effectively in a team.
- Good communication skills.
