On behalf of our international partner, we are seeking a Senior Python Developer to join their expanding engineering team in Budapest. In this role, you will contribute to the development of a state-of-the-art, cloud-native data and machine learning platform, playing a key role in shaping a globally used product at the forefront of AI and advanced analytics.
Tasks
- Design and develop Python SDKs and related packages
- Contribute to the integration between a data platform and the Python ecosystem
- Build solutions for data integration and model interoperability
- Improve developer experience for Python users
- Collaborate with international teams in a global engineering environment

Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
- Strong hands-on experience with Python (preferably Python 3.12+)
- Experience with Python packaging and dependency management (e.g. PyPI, Poetry, Conda)
- Solid knowledge of data processing libraries (e.g. Pandas, Dask, NumPy)
- Experience with testing (unit and integration testing)
- Passion for writing clean, maintainable, and performant code
- Good communication skills in English
