Support the Country Finance Manager in properly managing the financials of the entity, ensuring integrity of the P&L and guarantee the business compliance with various local and corporate tax regulations. Ensure compliance with all processes and no risks.
Tasks
- Perform the tasks assigned for the month end closure, respecting the corporate timing.
- Manage the Balance Sheet reconciliation, analysis and review, working closely with the SSC
- Manage preparing and reviewing all the financial statements in cooperation with the SSC
- Manage the internal and external audit processes in line with the local regulations and requirements.
- Guarantee and sponsor the compliance with accounting principles and local regulations.
- Keep statutory accounting policies up to date.
- Guarantee the business compliance with various local and corporate tax regulations.
- Manage tax audits.
- Investigate new tax laws and developments, sharing the information with the central Tax team.
- Manage tax return preparation and submission in cooperation with the SSC.
- Manage preparation and submission of statistical reports to the Statistical Office and National Bank in cooperation with the SSC.
- Manage procurement activity for the Finance department.
- Support vendor master data maintenance process.
- Coordinate monthly employee expense report closing process.
- Keep contact with the payroll provider and follow up in case of any discrepancies in the accounting.
- Initiate manual payments and manage them in cooperation with the SSC.
Requirements
- University degree in economics or finance.
- Experience in similar roles.
- Fluent in English.
- SAP and MS Office knowledge.
- Strong knowledge of tax regulation.
- IFRS experience is an advantage.
