As a Performance Analyst at Janus Henderson Investors in Budapest, you will produce daily and monthly performance reporting, support NAV oversight and validation, and perform performance attribution using industry-standard tools while ensuring alignment with official accounting records.
Tasks
- Produce daily & monthly performance reporting including NAV-based returns, time-weighted returns, and ex-post risk metrics.
- Support NAV oversight and validation, working closely with Fund Accounting to investigate and resolve discrepancies.
- Perform daily and monthly performance attribution using industry-standard tools.
- Maintain and oversee composite structures and reporting.
- Conduct valuation and pricing validation checks.
- Support month-end close processes from a performance perspective.
- Perform peer group and benchmark analysis using tools such as Morningstar Direct.
- Prepare and distribute market data and performance analytics reports using financial platforms.
- Ensure adherence to GIPS standards and internal valuation policies.
- Investigate and resolve data quality issues across performance, accounting, and security master domains.

Requirements
- Experience in investment performance, fund accounting, or a hybrid performance/accounting role.
- Strong understanding of NAV mechanics, valuation principles, and portfolio accounting concepts.
- Familiarity with performance and attribution platforms (FactSet, Morningstar Direct, Bloomberg, Aladdin).
- Strong Excel skills and ability to reconcile large, multi-source datasets.
- High attention to detail with a focus on data integrity, reconciliation, and control frameworks.
- Strong analytical mindset.
