Jabil is looking for an industrial engineer responsible for the design, development, and improvement of integrated manufacturing and service systems at its Tiszaújváros site. The person in this position will participate in projects, ensure efficiency, coordinate plant layout modifications, and support the work of the Lean organization.
Tasks
- Participation as a project team member in projects aimed at eliminating waste and inefficiencies
- Preparation of capital equipment purchase requests, capacity studies, and plant layout plans
- Determination of standard times for process steps
- Collection and analysis of industrial engineering metrics
- Coordination of plant layout modifications, relocations, and transfers
- Monitoring of SAP and MES configurations
- Collection and compilation of data required for preparing proposals and cost estimates
- Professional support, mentoring, and training of engineers within the industrial engineering team
- Supporting the work of the Lean organization by establishing stable process foundations
Requirements
- Knowledge and practical application of a wide range of industrial engineering tools and methods
- Knowledge of Jabil's global strategy and corporate guidelines
- Outstanding analytical skills
- Demonstrated success in change management and continuous improvement initiatives
- Excellent communication skills in Hungarian
- English proficiency at a minimum B2 level
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, Microsoft Visio, and Microsoft Project
- Proficiency in the use of AutoCAD
