Our partner is a dynamically growing international manufacturing company looking for a new team member for the Cost Accountant position in their finance and accounting team. Tasks
- Recording and tracking accounting transactions related to raw material procurement and inventory movements.
- Checking purchase invoices, orders, goods receipt notes and related documents.
- Preparing the allocation and accounting of raw material costs, creating cost calculations.
- Evaluation and calculation of work-in-progress (WIP) inventories required for month-end closing.
- Supporting the allocation and accounting of manufacturing overhead costs.
- Supporting the cost accounting of finished goods and product cost calculations.
- Reconciling inventory and production data with accounting records.
- Preparing cost reports, reconciliations, and related financial documentation.
- Identifying and investigating variances related to inventory and production costs.
- Close cooperation with procurement, warehousing, production, planning, and finance departments.
- Supporting month-end closing processes in inventory management and cost accounting.
- Accurate and up-to-date maintenance of documentation required for audits.
