As an E2E Financial & Reporting Junior Accountant in our Budapest office you will be the key Finance contact of local sales entities. You will manage the Accounting of the sites that do not have a local finance representative, collaborate with local 3rd party suppliers for payroll and tax matters, and perform month-end closing and reporting.
Tasks
- Process invoice (book as per IFRS & create payment entries in the online Bank platform)
- Book required transactions in SAP as per IFRS requirements (IFRS 16, Building Accruals & Provisions, Currency revaluation, Cash advances, Service Fee, Mark up, CAPEX related transactions, Book payroll data received from 3rd party)
- Perform Month-End Closing and Reporting as per IFRS - in SAP & BOFC
- Entity Management Reporting
- Build constructive and effective relationships with the business and stakeholders
- Take over ownership to find solution for encountered issues and problems
- Actively collaborate with Local & 3rd party teams to support their daily operations
- Ensure knowledge transfer objectives are met
- Prepare and update work instructions, process manual
- Contribute to and manage end-to-end process improvements
- Participate in projects

Requirements
- Finance degree or equivalent (like Chartered accountant)
- Fluent English
- 0 years in Finance; Accounting experience is mandatory, while fixed asset and/or Intercompany experience is advantage
- SAP knowledge is an advantage (or relevant accounting software)
- MS office and Advanced knowledge of Excel
