We are looking for a Security Coordinator to support and coordinate security and data privacy compliance activities for a complex IoT application environment. In this role, you will work closely with development teams, security and data privacy experts, auditors, and business stakeholders to ensure that applications meet relevant security, data privacy, and internal compliance requirements.
Tasks
- Coordination of security and data privacy assessment processes for a critical IoT application system
- Support and coordination of internal compliance and approval processes, including the Deutsche Telekom Privacy and Security Assessment (PSA) process
- Acting as the main point of contact for internal and external security and data privacy auditors
- Coordination and tracking of the implementation of security and data privacy-related measures
- Support in the preparation and coordination of necessary compliance approvals
- Provision of guidance to development teams on best practices
- Collaboration with technical teams, security specialists, and business stakeholders to identify compliance gaps
- Maintenance of compliance documentation and provision of regular status updates

Requirements
- Professional experience in IT security compliance, information security governance, data privacy, IT risk management, or a related field
- Good understanding of security and data privacy principles
- Good understanding of regulatory requirements and compliance processes, including GDPR
- Experience in coordinating security assessments, compliance activities, audits, or similar processes in IT environments
- Ability to work cross-functionally with development and business teams
- Experience in project coordination, stakeholder management, or project management in IT environments
- Ability to understand technical concepts and communicate security and data privacy requirements
- Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills
- Strong documentation skills
- German language skills at B2 level or higher
- English language skills at B2 level or higher
