AVL in Hungary is seeking a Function Developer Engineer to work in Érd on control algorithm development and integration for state-of-the-art engine control units in C language.
Tasks
- Control algorithm development and integration for state-of-the-art engine control units in C language
- Concept and requirement definition of state-of-the-art automotive technologies
- Testing directly on the dedicated control unit and/or vehicle
- Technical application of mathematical, physical and logical knowledge
- Discuss technical requirements with internal partners / external customers

Requirements
- BSc/MSc degree in Computer Science, Mechatronics, Electrical, Mechanical, Vehicle Engineering, Physics or similar
- Experience in C programming and embedded system integration
- Knowledge in Python or MATLAB & Simulink is a plus
- Knowledge regarding CRA (Cyber Resilience Act) is a plus
- Fluency in written and spoken English
- German knowledge is a plus
- Work independently and take ownership of product features
- Good communication/presentation skills, strong team player
