Tasks
- Mechanical design of automotive electronic devices, equipment related to autonomous driving systems, as well as server and network equipment.
- Development of device housings, mounts, support structures, cooling solutions, and internal component layouts.
- Creation of 3D CAD models and production-ready technical drawings, as well as maintenance of design documentation.
- Design of sheet metal and injection-molded plastic parts, considering manufacturability and tooling aspects.
- Preparation of tolerance analyses, optimization of fits and mechanical connections.
- Collaboration with electrical and electronics engineers, software development, testing, and production teams.
- Support for prototype inspection, validation tests, and necessary design modifications.
- Identification of manufacturability, cost, and performance optimization opportunities, and preparation for serial production.
- Maintaining contact with international project teams, clients, and suppliers.
