Our partner, a well-regarded Budapest law firm, is seeking a Senior Lawyer in corporate law and M&A with at least 10 years of relevant professional experience. We are looking for an expert who will support the firm's professional work with their knowledge of corporate law, M&A, and compliance, as well as a business-oriented mindset and fluent English.
Tasks
- Legal support for domestic and international M&A transactions, corporate acquisitions, and corporate reorganizations.
- Corporate law consulting, structuring of companies and joint venture arrangements.
- Preparation, review, and negotiation of commercial and other business contracts.
- Handling compliance-related legal issues and supporting clients.
- Client communication, independent case management, and resolution of complex legal issues.
- Professional support and coordination of the work of a 5-6 person team of junior colleagues.
- Collaboration with experienced lawyers from other practice areas of the firm on larger, more complex matters.
Requirements
- At least 10 years of relevant professional experience in the legal field.
- Significant experience in corporate law and M&A.
- Relevant professional experience in compliance.
- Fluent, business-level English proficiency, both spoken and written.
- Independent, responsible work ethic and a business-oriented mindset.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Collaborative attitude and openness to sharing professional knowledge.
