The Department of Digital Food Science is seeking a Research Fellow with a PhD degree for data science and artificial intelligence-based research. We are looking for a colleague who works confidently with data, is capable of independently solving research problems, and is enthusiastic about applying modern data analysis, machine learning, and AI-based methods.
Tasks
- Analysis and integration of complex, heterogeneous data.
- Development of statistical, machine learning, and AI-based models, with a particular focus on forecasting and decision support.
- Development of reproducible data analysis workflows, automated solutions, and AI-driven applications.
- Participation in domestic and international research projects, preparation of scientific publications and grant proposals.
- Involvement in the department's teaching and supervision tasks.

Requirements
- PhD degree in a relevant scientific field.
- Practical experience in data analysis, application of statistical or machine learning methods.
- Programming and data processing skills (primarily Python).
- Openness to applying modern AI tools, AI-supported development and automation solutions.
- Independent, proactive, and collaborative research mindset.
- Fluent English in both speech and writing, at a level suitable for international research cooperation and scientific communication.
