KX is hiring a seasoned Lead Python Implementation Engineer, Financial Markets, to join our Implementation Team. In this role, you will lead the architecture, customization, and deployment of our proprietary OneTick-based financial products across AWS-hosted and client environments. You will design and optimize large-scale ETL frameworks, ensure high-performance distributed deployments, and serve as a trusted technical advisor to clients.
Tasks
- Lead the architecture, customization, and deployment of OneTick-based solutions for financial market clients.
- Design, implement, and optimize large-scale ETL workflows and data-processing pipelines.
- Ensure performance, reliability, and scalability of distributed deployments across AWS and client environments.
- Act as a technical advisor to clients, supporting integration strategy and providing best-practice guidance.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues across distributed systems and production environments.
- Work closely with internal engineering and product teams to support successful client implementations.
- Mentor junior and mid-level engineers and contribute to knowledge sharing within the team.

Requirements
- 6 years of experience in Data Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Expert-level Python development experience.
- Proven experience designing and maintaining large-scale ETL pipelines and data workflows.
- Strong hands-on experience with AWS cloud environments and with Apache Airflow for workflow orchestration.
- Experience working with distributed systems and production-grade deployments.
- Experience in client-facing technical roles, such as implementation, consulting, or solution engineering.
- Proven experience in people management or technical team leadership, including mentoring engineers, coordinating technical work within a team, and driving delivery execution.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
