HARIBO is an internationally renowned, family-owned company with a strong growth record and a leading position in the confectionery market. HARIBO Hungária Kft. is a subsidiary of the HARIBO Group, operating a well-established manufacturing site in Nemesvámos, Hungary. We are now looking for an experienced leader to join our team and take responsibility for our entire Packaging organisation.
Tasks
- Lead and manage the entire Packaging organisation, ensuring the effective operation and performance of a team of approximately 80 employees.
- Drive the continuous improvement and optimisation of packaging processes, identifying opportunities to increase efficiency, reduce waste and implement automation.
- Oversee packaging technologies and production lines, initiating technological developments and coordinating their implementation.
- Lead, develop and motivate the management team and employees, ensuring performance management and alignment with organisational objectives.
- Prepare and manage the annual departmental budget, monitor cost performance, analyse deviations and implement cost optimisation measures.
- Ensure the efficient use of available resources and cost-effective operations.
- Participate in international, Group-level projects and development initiatives, coordinating the local implementation of Group standards and best practices and monitoring their effectiveness.
- Coordinate the investigation of quality deviations and customer complaints related to packaging operations, ensuring the implementation of appropriate corrective and preventive actions.
- Manage documentation related to new product introductions and ensure that packaging instructions and labels are kept up to date.
- Monitor and evaluate departmental KPIs, set improvement targets and coordinate initiatives to enhance overall performance.

Requirements
- University degree, preferably in Engineering, Food Technology or a related technical field.
- 5--10 years of professional experience in a manufacturing environment.
- 3--5 years of leadership experience in a similar position.
- Advanced English language skills, both written and spoken.
- Proven experience in production line optimisation and operational efficiency improvements.
- Strong analytical thinking, strategic mindset and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in managing complex and international projects.
- Knowledge of modern production and organisational methodologies.
- Proactive and agile approach, with strong communication and collaboration skills.
- High level of ownership, decision-making ability and change management skills.
- Confident digital and reporting skills.
