Our client is a dynamically developing, medical technology-oriented company with a history of over 30 years, engaged in the development and manufacturing of high-value-added healthcare products, placing special emphasis on quality, innovation, and compliance with the strictest industry regulations. It is one of the defining players in equipment manufacturing in Europe.
Tasks
- Developing a comprehensive product costing framework: determining standard costs, mapping production processes, and establishing reporting and standard-actual variance structures that provide meaningful insight into profitability and efficiency.
- Mapping the entire production workflow: tracing processes from raw materials through intermediate goods to semi-finished and finished products to establish appropriate real and financial measurement systems within the ERP structure.
- Planning and allocating overhead and general cost allocations to products.
- Developing an optimal system of cost centers/cost measurement units in production.
- Coordinating master data processes affecting production costs (e.g., workstation settings, item settings, BOM, routing).
- Coordinating standard price reviews, calculating pre- and post-calculations, and simulations.
- Performing regular, in-depth variance analysis (actual vs. standard costs): identifying root causes of variances, variance analysis, and building a reporting structure.
- Supporting process optimization and decision-making: for example, regarding technology investments, insourcing-outsourcing decisions, rework, downtimes, shift scheduling, and lean projects.
- Regular participation in change management and production meetings.
- Close cooperation with related departments: liaising with production, procurement, maintenance, engineering, IT, and finance teams.

Requirements
- Degree in engineering and/or economics / technical management
- Relevant professional experience (3+ years) in production costing / production controlling
- communicative English language skills
- Technical and IT openness, practicality, engineering mindset
- Advanced knowledge of cost accounting and variance analysis (understanding of material norms [BOM], material, labor, and overhead cost logic)
- Proficient use of ERP systems — particularly SAP — and data analysis tools
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a sharp analytical mindset.
