We are looking for a Data Scientist Expert to work at one of Hungary's leading telecommunications companies. You will support business and marketing decisions with data-driven solutions, develop predictive models, translate business needs into ML and AI solutions, and participate in generative AI projects.
Tasks
- Supporting business and marketing decisions with data-driven solutions, developing predictive models such as churn scoring and product propensity scoring.
- Translating business needs into actionable ML and AI solutions across marketing, customer care, and network operations.
- Participating in generative AI projects, including working with LLMs, and custom NLP to build innovative solutions like customer service chatbots.
- Summarising and presenting analytical results for stakeholders.
- Managing production-ready code, documentation, and large-scale customer/transactional data assets.
- Collaborating with data and MLOps engineers to ensure data science solutions remain reliable, high-quality, and scalable.

Requirements
- BSc or MSc degree in Economics, Technology, Natural or Social Sciences.
- 2-3 years of relevant professional experience in data science or analytics.
- Intermediate knowledge of statistics, data analysis and machine learning techniques.
- Confident use of Python and SQL.
- Able to deliver projects independently or with light supervision.
- Excellent communication skills, able to present complex technical results clearly.
- Proficient level of English.
- Experience working in a consumer setting and marketing is a plus.
