As a Senior Web Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining modern web applications that support Shift 4's business and customer-facing solutions. Your main focus will be on building high-quality, scalable, and maintainable front-end applications using Angular while working closely with backend developers, architects, product owners, and QA engineers.
Tasks
- Design, develop, test, and maintain web applications using Angular
- Build reusable, maintainable, and scalable UI components
- Implement responsive and user-friendly interfaces that provide an excellent user experience
- Collaborate closely with product owners, UX designers, and backend developers to deliver business requirements
- Integrate front-end applications with REST APIs and backend services
- Ensure applications meet security, performance, and accessibility standards
- Troubleshoot and resolve application issues, bugs, and performance bottlenecks
- Perform code reviews and promote development best practices across the team
- Write and maintain unit tests, integration tests, and automated test suites
- Participate actively in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily standups, retrospectives, and backlog refinement
- Mentor junior developers and share technical knowledge with the team
Requirements
- Strong hands-on experience with Angular (Angular 12+ preferred)
- Deep understanding of Angular architecture and core concepts: Components, Modules, Services, Dependency Injection, Routing, Guards, Pipes, Directives, Reactive Forms
- Strong experience with RxJS and reactive programming concepts
- Experience implementing state management solutions (NgRx, Redux patterns, or similar)
- Advanced knowledge of: TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3
- University degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical field
- Minimum 5 years of professional software development experience
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on Angular development experience in enterprise environments
- Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal
