We are looking for a Buying Operational Specialist to join a dynamic international team and support the management of product categories throughout their lifecycle. This role is ideal for professionals with experience in procurement, category management, retail, supply chain, or FMCG/CPG environments who enjoy working in a fast-paced, collaborative setting.
Tasks
- Support the management of assigned product categories throughout their lifecycle
- Monitor market trends and commodity developments, providing recommendations to stakeholders
- Coordinate multiple projects simultaneously and ensure timely delivery of tasks
- Act as a key point of contact between internal teams and external suppliers
- Resolve vendor and product-related issues efficiently
- Prepare reports, maintain databases, and track essential business data
- Support process improvement initiatives and recommend operational enhancements
- Assist with administrative tasks, documentation, and meeting coordination
Requirements
- Degree in Business, Economics, Supply Chain or a related field is preferred.
- At least 2 years of relevant experience in FMCG/CPG, retail, buying, category management or supply chain.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to manage several priorities at the same time.
- Fluency in English.
- Detail-oriented, proactive and solution-focused approach.
- Confident user of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
