Mechanical Foreman

Tasks

• Ensures the reliable operation of machines and equipment required for road and bridge maintenance in order to fully perform road network operation and maintenance tasks.
• Makes proposals for fleet development activities to perform operation and maintenance tasks at a higher level.
• Schedules, coordinates, and supervises repair and maintenance work to ensure the proper technical condition of the machines.
• Keeps records of the state of the equipment stock belonging to his/her field and provides data for further analyses, investigations, and management decisions.
• Represents his/her field, maintains professional internal and external contacts for the purpose of purchasing materials required for the maintenance of the machine fleet and having repairs carried out.
• Ensures and checks that the machines and vehicles operating under his/her supervision are handled only by employees with the prescribed qualification, license, or permit, and who have received occupational safety training.
• Ensures the issuance of personal protective equipment, its proper use, and replacement.

Requirements

• higher education, 3 years of professional experience
• secondary specialized education, 5 years of professional experience
• category B driving license
• user-level knowledge of Microsoft Office (especially Excel)
