As a Financial Analyst at Flowserve Corporation in Budapest, you will support accurate, compliant, and timely financial reporting across the Finance organization. You will contribute to end-to-end accounting activities, including General Ledger accounting, reconciliations, financial reporting, and closing processes while working closely with site controllers and cross-functional stakeholders.
Tasks
- Perform General Ledger accounting activities, including journal entries and account reconciliations.
- Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes.
- Prepare financial reports and ensure compliance with US GAAP and internal-control requirements.
- Support SOX compliance activities and internal and external audits.
- Identify accounting issues and contribute to process-improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate with site controllers and other stakeholders to support accurate and timely financial reporting.
- Prepare and maintain accounting documentation and standard operating procedures.
- Support the resolution of financial-reporting and accounting-related queries.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- 2-3 years of relevant experience in accounting or financial analysis.
- Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial processes.
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
- Good analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Fluent written and spoken English and Hungarian.
