Our international electronics manufacturing partner is looking for an experienced professional for its new development engineering team to play a decisive role in the technical development of new business areas. The position offers direct international client relations, professional travel abroad, and hybrid work opportunities.
Tasks
- Designing and developing electronic components and related mechanical solutions.
- Adapting existing products to new industry and customer requirements.
- Conducting mechanical feasibility studies and preparing technical cost estimates.
- Designing plastic and metal components, enclosures, seals, and prototypes.
- Creating 3D CAD models, technical drawings, and tolerance analyses.
- Planning mechanical and environmental tests, and evaluating their results.
- Independently coordinating development projects from concept to mass production.
- Direct communication with international clients, assessing their technical needs and integrating them into developments.

Requirements
- Higher education in mechanical engineering, materials engineering, plastics engineering, or a related technical field
- At least 5 years of relevant mechanical design experience
- Several years of experience gained in electronics manufacturing
- Active, confident English language skills spoken and written
- Experience in an automotive environment, SAP knowledge, and German language skills are an advantage
