Ceva-Phylaxia is looking for full-time applicants for a Molecular Diagnostics Technician position within the Molecular Diagnostics Laboratory team, operating as part of the Scientific Support Directorate at the Ceva Phylaxia Campus in Budapest's 10th district. Reporting to the Head of the Molecular Diagnostics Laboratory, you will ensure incoming samples are handled and tested according to guidelines.
Tasks
- You process incoming laboratory samples according to instructions and perform molecular biological tests within the lab's profile.
- You master and apply newly introduced methods in practice, including work in a sterile hood.
- You record experimental data promptly and accurately according to instructions.
- You ensure the proper condition of laboratory equipment and instruments, and coordinate and document necessary calibrations.
- You prepare, handle, store, and document reagents and standards, monitor inventory, and support procurement.
- You participate in the lab's administrative tasks and professional training, and contribute to maintaining order, cleanliness, and occupational safety regulations.

Requirements
- Secondary specialized or technician degree.
- At least 1 year of experience in a similar laboratory field, along with appropriate knowledge in chemistry, microbiology, and molecular biology.
- Basic English language skills and user-level computer knowledge.
- Accurate, attentive work, appropriate manual dexterity and independence, with a cooperative attitude.
