We are looking for an experienced Pre-Sales Systems Engineer to join our Partner and support the design and delivery of enterprise IT infrastructure solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in data center technologies, including servers, storage, networking, virtualization, backup solutions, and software licensing in multi-vendor environments. In this role, you will work closely with sales teams, customers, vendors, and distributors to develop technical proposals, design tailored solutions, and support complex infrastructure projects. This position offers the opportunity to contribute to innovative IT solutions while building strong relationships with customers and technology partners.
Tasks
- Supporting sales representatives and participating in customer meetings
- Preparing technical solution proposals for customer requirements, including consultation and solution refinement
- Creating vendor configurations with the support of vendors and/or distributors
- Uploading configurations to vendor systems and obtaining pricing quotations
- Preparing technical documentation and specifications to support procurement processes
- Planning and managing hardware-level migrations and assisting in their execution
- Managing equipment deliveries and implementation projects
- Preparing and maintaining implementation and as-built documentation
- Keeping technical knowledge up to date and obtaining vendor certifications
- Product expertise in: HPE, Dell, Cisco, Veeam, Synology, VMware, Red Hat licensing, and Microsoft Server licensing
Requirements
- Relevant higher education degree (Bachelor's or higher)
- Comprehensive knowledge of data center technologies (servers, storage systems, data center LAN, SAN, virtualization platforms, operating systems, backup solutions) in multi-vendor environments
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar Pre-Sales role
- Active and established professional network with vendors and distributors
- Proficient English language skills for understanding technical documentation and maintaining communication with vendors and distributors
- Ability to work independently with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
- Strong teamwork and collaboration skills
- Excellent communication skills, including effective communication with customers and clients
