The Supervised Apartment Unit for Minors in Ioannina announces 1 new Bengali Interpreter position. The duration of employment will be for two months, with the possibility of renewal.
Tasks
- Provision of translation and interpretation services within the framework of the program.
- Accurate interpretation of discussions between program staff and minors without any interference in their content and with complete confidentiality.
- Accompanying minors to various services and hospitals when deemed necessary.
- Assisting the program's social scientists and legal experts in gathering information of social and legal interest.
- Visits to the children's apartments during the shift, checking the presence of the children and addressing issues that may be identified or arise.
- Alignment with the coordination team's instructions regarding his/her duties, as well as any adaptation of these to emergency situations.
Requirements
- Excellent knowledge of Bengali (spoken and written)
- Good knowledge of the Greek or English language
- 1 year of previous professional experience in a related field
