We are looking for a Security Coordinator to support and coordinate security and data privacy compliance activities for a complex IoT application environment. In this role, you will work closely with development teams, security and data privacy experts, auditors, and business stakeholders.
Tasks
- Coordination of security and data privacy assessment processes for a critical IoT application system with multiple subsystems
- Support and coordination of internal compliance and approval processes, including the Deutsche Telekom Privacy and Security Assessment (PSA) process
- Acting as the main point of contact for internal and external security and data privacy auditors
- Coordination and tracking of the implementation of security- and privacy-related measures
- Assistance in the preparation and coordination of necessary compliance approvals
- Providing guidance to development teams on best practices
- Collaboration with technical teams, security specialists, and business stakeholders to identify compliance gaps
- Maintaining compliance documentation, tracking progress, and providing regular status updates
Requirements
- Professional experience in IT security compliance, information security governance, data privacy, IT risk management, or a related field
- Good understanding of security and data privacy principles
- Good understanding of regulatory requirements and compliance processes, including GDPR
- Experience in coordinating security assessments, compliance activities, audits, or similar processes in IT environments
- Ability to work cross-functionally with development and business teams
- Experience in project coordination, stakeholder management, or project management in IT environments
- Ability to understand technical concepts and communicate security and data privacy requirements
- Strong organizational, analytical, communication, and documentation skills
- German language skills at B2 level or higher
- English language skills at B2 level or higher
