Responsibility for global project control activity and promotion of uniform functional specifications and common global processes for project implementation. Performs standard operational/technical tasks, typically subject to instructions and workflows.
Tasks
- Provides technical know-how and develops technical solutions (configuration, performance estimation, economics, etc.) within the Pre-ITO (procurement) process
- Acts as an interface to the commercial team
- Technical analysis of customer requirements: definition and optimization of products; scope (description); schedule; industrial regulation; costs considering contractual and internal guidelines and procedures
- Calculation of performance and efficiency of plants, systems and equipment
- Documentation of technical specifications and calculation elements for further phases of contract execution
- Expansion of knowledge in one's own technical discipline to implement guidelines/strategies
- Develops strong customer relationships for customer-facing roles and serves as an interface between customers and GE Vernova
- Explains technical information to others
Requirements
- This role requires basic experience. The knowledge level is comparable to a Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma with corresponding experience).
- Very good verbal and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills and leadership qualities
- Ability to work independently
- Strong problem-solving skills
