At TCS Hungary, opportunity meets stability in a vibrant and dynamic work environment. We are looking for a Czech Speaking Procurement Sourcing Buyer to manage the end-to-end purchasing process, source and evaluate suppliers, and collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure smooth operations.
Tasks
- Manage the end-to-end purchasing process for assigned categories or materials, including requisition review, supplier selection, purchase order creation, and order follow-up.
- Source and evaluate suppliers based on price, quality, delivery capability, service, and compliance.
- Negotiate routine commercial terms, prices, and delivery schedules within the agreed authority framework.
- Monitor inventory requirements and coordinate with inventory and planning teams to support appropriate stock levels.
- Collaborate with production, engineering, finance, and other stakeholders to clarify procurement requirements and specifications.
- Track and expedite orders, resolve delivery issues, and communicate supply risks or delays.
- Maintain accurate procurement records, contracts, supplier information, and purchasing documentation.
- Support supplier performance monitoring, supplier audits, compliance checks, invoice resolution, and payment-related queries.
- Handle stakeholder queries, follow up on open items, and provide clear status updates on orders, risks, and outstanding actions.
- Identify opportunities for cost savings, process improvement, and procurement risk mitigation while ensuring compliance with procurement policies and contractual requirements.

Requirements
- Certificate degree, Bachelor's degree in any field, MBA, or postgraduate qualification.
- Knowledge and experience in sourcing, logistics, procurement, or accounting principles.
- Understanding of purchasing documentation, purchase orders, supplier records, and end-to-end procurement processes.
- Experience working with ERP procurement or finance systems such as SAP, IFS, or Oracle.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office tools, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Clear communication skills and the ability to coordinate effectively with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under pressure.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and a compliance-focused mindset.
