Veolia Water Hungary Kft. is a leading membrane technology company. We are looking for a Lead Design Engineer for our membrane plant in Oroszlány, whose primary goal is to design, develop and optimize experimental and production machinery, as well as to fully coordinate and execute related machine building projects.
Tasks
- Redesign of existing production equipment to achieve new R&D experimental goals
- Design and manufacture of experimental, simplified R&D prototypes, concept validation
- Design of experimental and production machinery supported by component sizing and appropriate material selection
- Preparation and updating of design documentation, management of the EPDM system
- Reviewing colleagues' designs, providing professional support
- Testing and optimization of experimental and production equipment
- Execution and coordination of machine building projects, keeping track of the schedule and financial plan
- Providing on-site coordination of machine building projects as needed
- Planning and organization of maintenance requirements for experimental and production machinery
- Identification, assessment and management of risks
- Communication with stakeholders, clients and partners
- Preparation of reports and summaries; giving presentations
- Compliance and enforcement of legal, regulatory, quality assurance and occupational health and safety regulations

Requirements
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Minimum 5 years of experience in design engineering, machine building and installation
- Fluent English in spoken and written, with a special focus on technical terminology
- User-level proficiency in MS Office or Google Suite
- Systems thinking, economic mindset, basic knowledge of machine manufacturing technology
- Creative, proactive personality open to innovation, with an energetic approach
