For a 12-month proof-of-concept project to evaluate a new workforce time management system, we are looking for an experienced specialist for functional system testing (User Acceptance Testing -- UAT). The focus is on the functional validation of a workforce solution in a complex industrial production environment with multiple locations and over 3,000 employees.
Tasks
- Creation of functional test concepts, test cases, and test scenarios for time management and payroll processes
- Derivation and validation of test scenarios based on existing SAP HCM processes
- Mapping and verification of complex collective and company agreements (e.g. piece-rate pay, shift models, premium logic)
- Execution of structured end-to-end tests (UAT) in the workforce test environment
- Validation of time models, time bookings, shift planning, premium calculations, absences, as well as overtime and extra hours
- Checking special cases such as short-time work, shift changes, and collective agreement exceptions
- Ensuring correct integration between time management and payroll, as well as analyzing relevant data flows and interfaces
- Evaluation of potential impacts on payroll and billing security
- Identification, analysis, and structured documentation of system discrepancies, bugs, and functional limitations
- Creation of meaningful test reports and evaluation of the operational viability of the solution
- Analysis of potential risks for time management and payroll processes and creation of decision-making bases for the further system strategy
