BorsodChem Zrt., based in Kazincbarcika and part of the Chinese Wanhua Group, is a leading European manufacturer of MDI and TDI products and PVC powders, and is looking for a mechanical engineer to perform technical diagnostic tasks in the maintenance field.
Tasks
- Conducting destructive and non-destructive material testing, preparing testing instructions.
- Professional supervision and quality management control of the entrusted testing procedure.
- Planning and conducting technical diagnostic tests.
- Data analysis, documentation, verification of test result validity.
- Investigating failures and conducting root cause analysis.
- Ordering tests, technical inspection of completed tests.
- Inspection of pressure equipment and tanks.
- Equipment condition assessment and monitoring.
- Coordination, monitoring, and reporting of non-destructive testing for priority projects.
- Execution of CAPEX-related tasks.
- Standard monitoring, conducting GAP analyses, training on standard updates.
- Planning overhaul tasks; supervising external material testers during overhauls.
- BSc degree in Mechanical Engineering / Materials Engineering.
- Communicative English language skills.
- User-level knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
- Compliance with rules.
- Accurate, precise work.
- Willingness to learn.
- Good problem-solving skills.
- Chemical industry specialization.
- Degree in Technical Diagnostics.
- Knowledge of SAP, Sharepoint TPM, LEAN.
- Knowledge of AutoCAD.
- 1-3 years of experience in a similar field.
- Certification according to MSZ EN ISO 9712.
