DSS Consulting Zrt. has been supporting its partners in implementing business intelligence systems, analytical solutions, and custom application development since 1998. We are looking for experienced Data Engineers who would enjoy working in modern cloud-based data environments, processing large volumes of data, and building scalable data platforms.
Tasks
- Design, development, and maintenance of ETL/ELT pipelines in an AWS-based environment
- Creation and optimization of data streams and data integration solutions
- Development and operation of Data Lake and Data Warehouse architectures
- Creation and support of streaming data processing pipelines
- Improving the performance, reliability, and cost-efficiency of data processing pipelines
- Implementation of data security, access control, and encryption solutions
- Ensuring data quality through validation and testing processes
- Participation in code reviews and professional discussions
- Professional support and mentoring of junior colleagues
- Collaboration with data analytics, business intelligence, development, and other professional teams
- Supporting business intelligence and reporting areas by providing a reliable data infrastructure

Requirements
- At least 5 years of professional experience as a Data Engineer or in a related field
- Minimum 3 years of experience in cloud-based AWS data environments
- Solid SQL and Python skills for data processing and transformation tasks
- Practical knowledge of AWS services (S3, Glue, Lambda, Redshift, Kinesis, Athena, Step Functions, EMR, CloudWatch)
- Experience in data modeling, partitioning, and performance tuning
- Experience using orchestration tools
- Knowledge of basic data security, data governance, and data privacy principles
- Independent, proactive, and systems-oriented thinking
- Structured problem-solving skills
- Fluent Hungarian
- Communicative English proficiency
