Our partner, a leading international energy group, is looking for a Controlling Expert to join its Budapest-based finance team. In this role, you will contribute to management decision-making, financial planning, reporting, and continuous process improvement.
Tasks
- Coordinate monthly and annual closing processes, including cost and revenue accruals
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and ad hoc controlling and management reports
- Analyse budget-versus-actual variances, financial performance, and costs
- Coordinate budgeting, forecasting, and medium-term financial planning
- Identify cost-saving and efficiency improvement opportunities
- Improve and automate reporting and data provision processes
- Oversee SAP CO-related master data, cost centres, internal orders, and projects
- Support audits and collaborate with Hungarian and international teams

Requirements
- A university degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field
- 3--5 years of relevant controlling experience
- Knowledge of closing, budgeting, forecasting, and business planning processes
- Fluent business English, both written and spoken
- Confident MS Office skills
- Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills
- A proactive, precise, and independent approach to work
