Dexian is seeking a Product Advisor to join their team embedded in a global energy client in Budapest. You will learn how the client's trading platform works and how it facilitates the business processes associated with oil commodity trading, ultimately becoming an SME Product Advisor.
Tasks
- Support the in-house Energy Risk Trading Management Platform closely integrated into core SAP systems.
- Participate in the execution of day-to-day activities and continuous major enhancement projects.
- Act as the focal point for queries for Downstream trading business users of the Platform.
- Be the SME or Advisor in system projects and enhancement initiatives across Asia Pacific and Europe.
- Involve in testing new system functionality as part of regular system upgrades and new functionality releases.
- Mentor and coach others, including preparing and delivering training to the broader Trading team and IT.
Requirements
- A good degree in STEM from a recognised university.
- Strong functional and technical skills with five years of related technical experience.
- Experience of working in a commodity trading environment, maybe as a trader or technical support, would be highly advantageous.
- Application or Platform support would be highly advantageous.
- Knowledge of SAP, maybe as a consultant or key user would be highly advantageous.
- Knowledge of Electronic Trading Systems would be highly advantageous.
- Experience with Power BI and/or Tableau is nice to have.
- Strong issue diagnosis and resolution skills, with a proactive attitude to take ownership of tasks are a plus.
